POSITION OVERVIEW

Edison is looking for a driven, highly efficient self-starter to join the team as the Executive Assistant and Office Manager. This individual will work closely with Edison’s Executive Team and provide direct support to the CEO, CRO and CTO. Ideal candidates will be comfortable handling and managing a wide range of executive, support-related tasks. Candidates must be extremely well organized and detail-oriented with the ability to effectively work in a variety of roles in a dynamic and ever-changing environment. This position is an extremely important position within the organization and will work cross-functionally across all departments to ensure the company’s organization and success.

EXPERIENCE YOU CAN BRING TO US

  • 4+ years of professional experience
  • Previous experience working for executives
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to communicate with C-level executives both internally and externally
  • Prior experience directly supporting HR functions and departments
  • Proven ability to seamlessly plan and execute meetings and events
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex tasks and prioritize competing demands in order to meet deadlines

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Provide executive support to the CEO, CRO and CTO, along with other members of the executive team.
  • Manage and oversee calendars, including meeting schedules, prioritize the most important matters, draft agendas, etc.
  • Draft correspondences and create required presentations
  • Attend meetings and record, transcribe and distribute meetings notes/minutes with appropriate action items, deliverables and due dates
  • Coordinate company travel requests
  • Provide event support and planning, including retreats, meetings and staff events
  • Maintaining office facilities and equipment by assisting with procurement and routine maintenance and upkeep
  • Manage inventory of office supplies, order additional supplies as needed and ensure costs are appropriately managed
  • Manage company HR functions including job descriptions, job posts, initial screenings and support employee onboarding and orientate new employees to the company as needed
  • Support internal projects and tasks, assist the executive team to ensure project deadlines are met and deliverables are provided to clients and partners on time
  • Support other functional areas and members of the organization’s leadership team with special projects as needed. May include projects in HR, Recruiting, Marketing, Development or Finance
